In recent years, an organic silicon functional fertilizer independently developed using new silicone materials has achieved important breakthroughs in the field of saline-alkali soil treatment and is expected to solve the major problems of saline-alkali soil.
On January 15th, relevant experts evaluated the scientific and technological achievements of the "organic silicon functional fertilizer treatment of saline-alkali soil technology" jointly completed by Hebei Silicon Valley Academy of Agricultural Sciences and Hebei Silicon Valley Fertilizer Co., Ltd. Experts from the Academy of Agriculture and Forestry Sciences and other units attended the evaluation meeting.
The expert group believes that the organosilicon functional fertilizer formed by organosilicon materials and compound fertilizers has multiple functions of improving the control of saline-alkali soil and supplementing nutrient elements, and is easy to apply, creating a set of technical systems for the improvement and management of saline-alkali land in China. With the breakthrough in the treatment of saline-alkali soils, the development of organic silicon functional fertilizers and product application technologies have reached internationally advanced levels in the improvement of saline-alkali land.
According to reports, organic silicon functional fertilizers can promote the formation of soil aggregates and accelerate salt leaching; break up soil compaction, increase soil porosity, and slow down the accumulation of deep soil salt to the surface; it can also increase organic matter, promote microbial reproduction, activate soil nutrients, and improve Crop salt resistance, create a good growth environment for crop roots, and improve crop yield.
The research and development of organic silicon functional fertilizer has won 3 invention patents. In recent years, the area of promotion in the five major types of saline-alkali areas in the country has reached 6.65 million mu, creating an output value benefit of more than 1.9 billion yuan.
