5、 Performance and test (1)
1. Storage life; shelf life: the longest storage time that the adhesive can still maintain its operational performance and specified strength under specified conditions.
2. Pot life; working life: the time when the prepared adhesive can maintain its usable properties. Synonym: usage period.
3. Solids content: the weight percentage of nonvolatile substances in the adhesive measured under the specified test conditions. Synonym: nonvolatile content.
4. Chemical resistance: the ability of the bonding sample to maintain its bonding performance after being treated by acid, alkali, salt and other chemicals.
5. Solvent resistance: the ability of the adhesive sample to maintain its bonding property after being treated with solvent.
6. Water resistance: the ability of the adhesive to maintain its bonding performance after the action of moisture or moisture.
7. Ablation resistance: the ability of the adhesive layer to resist the erosion of high temperature flame and high-speed airflow.
8. Durability: the ability of the adhesive to maintain its performance for a long time under service conditions.
9. Weather resistance: the ability to resist sunlight, cold and hot, rain, salt fog and other climatic conditions.
10. Bonding strength: the stress required for the failure of the interface between the adhesive and the object to be bonded or its adjacent area.
