WACKER launches anti-fogging release agent for high-speed coating and fast-response silicone pressure-sensitive adhesive

Recently, WACKER will launch two anti-fogging silicone release agents suitable for high-speed coating. DEHESIVE® 982 AMA can achieve very low release force, fast curing, stable release, good coverage, and is a universal product suitable for both paper and film coating. DEHESIVE® 276 AMA has a flat release force curve, low platinum consumption, and high cost performance, which is suitable for paper coating. At the same time, WACKER will also introduce new DEHESIVE® PSA 845R silicone pressure-sensitive adhesives. This product has the characteristics of high adhesion, fast curing speed and good stability. It is especially suitable for the production of protective films and high-temperature tapes for various electronic products. Labelexpo Asia 2019 will be held in Shanghai, China from December 3rd to 6th.
Both DEHESIVE® 982 AMA and DEHESIVE® 276 AMA are 100% solvent-free silicone release agents. The product has fast curing speed and stable release performance. Thanks to the unique AMA® anti-fogging technology, they can meet high-speed coating of 300 to 800 m / min or even faster, effectively prevent the formation of silicone aerosols, and significantly improve the coating effect. Both viscosities are suitable for five-roll or six-roll coating with good coverage.
DEHESIVE® 982 AMA has a low release force at low speed peeling, and the release force increases dynamically as the peeling speed increases. Its unique molecular structure makes it suitable for downstream applications of various pressure-sensitive adhesive systems. Even with reactive pressure-sensitive adhesives, stable release can be achieved. DEHESIVE® 982 AMA has excellent adhesion to a variety of substrates and can be widely used for coating paper and film substrates. In addition, the product has the characteristics of a long bath time, which is convenient for the coating formulation preparation operation.
DEHESIVE® 276 AMA has a very flat release force curve. Even if the peeling speed is fast, it can maintain a low release force, that is, high-speed light release. The product has a fast reaction speed, which can greatly reduce the amount of platinum catalyst, thereby significantly reducing the production cost of release paper and labels.
